ICT Ltd is the sanitary ware marketing arm of Newton Technology Group plc, whose project engineering division, Advanced Project Technology Ltd, has established two modern factories, in India and China, manufacturing high quality bathroom wares for international markets.

The key to successful trading in the nineties is value-for-money, which translates into high quality at competitive prices. In bathroom wares, the quality elements are quality of design and quality of manufacture. These are ensured by ICT's control of both factors from the UK, by provision of the best of current British design and mouldmaking services, and use of the most modern manufacturing processes and quality control procedures in our factories.

Management and training in both India and China are undertaken on a day to day basis by British staff with long experience both here in the UK and abroad. Both factories are brand new, with the latest in both automated and manual equipment from Britain and Italy. Combined with high quality local and imported raw materials, skilled local labour and rigid quality management to ISO 9000 standards, this means bathroom wares whose quality is immediately apparent, and which far exceeds its price. All products have naturally been designed and certified to meet all relevant BS and other regulatory norms.

Facilities

The combined capacity of our plants is over 600,000 pieces per annum, plus a wide range of accessories. Employment of skilled British mould makers on site and up-to-date intermittent batch firing kilns permits great flexibility both in product mix in regular production and in being able to offer rapid turn round of prototypes and customised modifications to our basic designs.

In addition to production versatility, we have over 70,000 sq ft of warehousing available at our Cambridge headquarters, and can offer bulk storage facilities to customers who wish to operate on a call-off basis.

Stocking and Production Planning

As well as planned production for established clients, ICT holds stock in the UK for immediate delivery and for provision of samples. Backup stocks are held at the factories to permit rapid delivery of larger quantities, prior to moving into scheduled production for new clients.
